Description
The question isn’t whether your company and supervisors have been AB 1825 compliant. The question is whether your supervisors are receiving the sexual harassment prevention training that makes a difference. This Professional Development Seminar provides the following information:
Requirements to be recognized as a qualified trainer by the state of California.
Required topics to identify, prevent and correct sexual harassment.
New rules apply to trainers as of summer 2007.
Trainers must also be retrained every two years.
Under California Government Code 12950.1, all supervisors must be trained every two years in how to prevent sexual harassment. The law is specific. In this program you will learn what you need to know to train your supervisors in identifying, preventing and correcting sexual harassment and be in compliance with the law.

Train the Trainer includes The Harassment Prevention Coach 2010
The Harassment Prevention Coach 2010 offers a great refresher for previously trained supervisors and new supervisors.
It also includes a presentation designed for employee training.
It includes all of the essential information as required by California and federal training requirements.
The Harassment Prevention Coach is designed to be very interactive.
To begin, give each participant a packet that includes a copy of the PowerPoint presentation, the Worksheet, the Certificate/Acknowledgment Form, the State information sheet and your company policy. After introductions, explain to the supervisors that you have a reasonable expectation that they have already been trained and should know the answers to all of the questions. Tell them that during the workshop they are playing Sexual Harassment Prevention Poker. Deal out the cards. You need to know the number of participants so you can insure that each person has at least one card dealt to them so that they know that they will have to answer at least one question. This will let them know in advance that they cannot sleep through this class, but will be asked to answer a question.
Throughout the presentation, you will see a number on a slide such as Q♥. The number is a corresponding number to the cards dealt.
To tailor exercises to your industry or your current situation, you can find recent cases at www.eeoc.gov/press.
The final exercise is the most powerful exercise for managing change in your organization.
