The SHRM Learning System Certification Prep Course provides a review of the student’s professional knowledge and skills and broadens his/her understanding of HR. The twelve week program consists of six instructional modules encompassing key areas in HR Management as outlined by SHRM. Students review test taking tips and take weekly timed examinations.
HRCI Eligibility: Students are responsible for assessing if they are eligible to take the national Certification Exam by reviewing the requirements at www.HRCI.org. There is a minimum level of on the job experience and education needed to successfully pass the exam. If you plan to sit for the PHR or SPHR exam you must register and pay examination fees through HRCI and confirm in advance that you meet exam eligibility requirements. All fees are payable by check, money order or credit card. Required materials will be distributed at the first session. The study group format will feature the SHRM Learning System, the most widely used resource in preparing for the PHR and SPHR exams.
