The majority of our students work full time. Our students are adult, non-traditional students taking this particular class for a career advancement or change. They have work/family responsibilities.
Our approach to the PHR SPHR Exam Prep program combines the traditional classroom with online learning.
To meet the needs of all of our students, we have taken a blended learning approach. Blended learning combines classroom learning with online learning, in which students can, in part, control the time, pace, and place of their learning.
Blended courses (also known as hybrid or mixed-mode courses) are classes where the traditional face-to-face instruction is enhanced by web-based online learning. (By the way this may show up as a test question on a PHR or SPHR exam).
Whether you are preparing for the exam or answering day-to-day questions, the Human Resource Certification Preparation Program is the right answer. The class covers the HR topics below:
Unit 1 - Business Management
Unit 2 - Workforce Planning and Employment
Unit 3 - Human Resource Development
Unit 4 - Compensation and Benefits
Unit 5 - Employee and Labor Relations
Unit 6 - Risk Management
Here's how it works:
Upon payment of registration students are delivered the Human Resources Certification Program (a set of 6 books, numerous online practice exams and flash cards. In your books is a white card with a link to the practice exams and a password to register. As soon as you receive your books, log on the www.HRCP.com website and register. Take pre-assessment Comprehensive Practice Exam A. This will tell you where you are weak and where your strengths are before the class begins allowing you to know where you need to focus your studies.
You will also receive a link to the On Demand eLearning Program that includes the pre-recorded lectures, PowerPoint presentations, more practice exams, class conversation and more resources.
Before classes begin covering each unit, you will listen to Unit 1 Part 1 On Demand lecture, read the first half of Unit 1 and take Unit 1 practice exam A.
Your instructor will send you a syllabus (study schedule) based on the class in which you have enrolled.
In class discussion will include problem centered questions, terms, scenarios, examples, interactive activities to enhance your learning, time to speak with the instructor and get clarification, more tests and test taking tips. Bring your questions to class. If you have a question, surely other students will have the same question. You may even write down a list of questions for the instructor to go over.

I just wanted to let you both know that I took and passed the PHR exam last Saturday, July 1.
Since I was not able to take the exam immediately after the Train me classes, the recorded lectures in moodle and the practice exams in HRCP and HRCI helped me remember what we all discussed in class. Thank you both for all your help!!!
Teresa Francisco, PHR - Pasadena Class
I passed my PHR exam today and in large part due to the prep course I took through Train Me Today. I had an AMAZING experience with the program and absolutely loved going to my class every Wednesday in Pasadena. Pam was an exceptional instructor and I'm so grateful to her for her encouragement and help. I just wanted to send an email to say thanks for such a great program it really changes lives and makes a huge difference.
